Curtis Halme is an exceptional siding installer and an Apprentice carpenter with over 10 000 hours of ITA recognized experience. Tinkering in his dad's workshop since he was 7 years old, helping his dad at work since he was 12 and a Level 3 Occupational First Aid Attendant since he was 18, Curtis has been around power tools, Ladders, scaffolding, safety protocols and fellow workers essentially his entire life.
In his early twenties he was a member of the marine construction union 2404, a subsidiary of the International Brotherhood of Carpenters where he received and completed two years of training which included tickets like Rigging, Aerial Lift and Construction Fall Protection on top of the experience gained from working with some of the most qualified, safety oriented and experienced people in the world. After a time of amazing experiences in the union working on projects like the Annacis Island dock fire repair in 2015 and the G3 Grain Terminal construction in 2018 Curtis left the union to join his father, Stephen Halme, permanently at Cloverdale Siding and Renovations based in Surrey, BC. Since then Curtis had been learning from the ocean of experience that was his dad who himself worked along side some of the most successful and experienced tradesmen in the industry. However, in 2023, Stephen Halme would retire and Curtis would go on to start his own business.
